Supervision
I provide clinical supervision for social workers seeking independent clinical licensure in Colorado or Texas. I aim to empower counselors seeking independent licensure by providing diverse knowledge on various clinical settings, diagnoses, evidence-based treatments, ethical guidance, and proven strategies that enhance client outcomes and strengthen professional confidence. I have experience working in a variety of settings, including detox, psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers for behavioral health and substance use disorders, partial hospitalization programs (PHP) for behavioral health and dual diagnosis, intensive outpatient settings (IOP) for both behavioral health and substance use disorders, outpatient settings, and private practice settings. I have extensive experience treating behavioral health disorders and substance use disorders in a variety of settings, including state-funded, private, managed care, and active-duty military settings. I use my diverse experience to help you meet your clinical supervision goals. Please reach out for a free consultation call to discuss if I am the right fit for your goals.
Colorado
The state of Colorado does not require a special licensure for supervisors. However, I believe in continuing education to grow and expand my supervision skills, engaging in yearly trainings focused on clinical supervision to continue growing as a professional. Additionally, in Colorado, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) can supervise not only social workers, but also Professional Counselor Candidates (LPCC), and Marriage and Family Therapist Candidates (MFTC) pursuing licensure. As an LCSW, I offer supervision for any of the above candidates seeking clinical supervision.
Texas
The state of Texas does require a specific licensure for social work supervisors. I completed the 40-hour supervision training in 2015 to become a licensed clinical supervisor and have been licensed in Texas as an LCSW Supervisor ever since. I have supervised social workers working towards their licensure both in Texas and Colorado. I currently offer virtual supervision for LMSWs in Texas working towards their LCSW at any stage of their journey.
